Ahtanum, Leaf Hops,
    Item # Ahta.Leaf.1101     Alpha: 6.0%

Ahtanum is primarily an aroma hop with moderate bittering properties. More grapefruit forward than Cascade, Ahtanum is a great alternative to Cascade or Amarillo for aroma and flavor additions. Characteristics include citrus, floral, pine, and earthy notes. Try this hop in American-style Bitters, Pale Ales, and IPAs. Substitutes: Cascade or Amarillo. The Ahtanum name is derived from the area near Yakima where the first hop farm was established in 1869 by Charles Carpenter.

Grown in Kent or East Kent, Golding is a classic finishing hop. This hop is deal for traditional old English Ales and does very well when used as the sole hop.
